Did Google forget to change the Doodle today?

Is it just you, or when you launched your browser did you happen to do a double take when seeing the same Google Doodle as yesterday?

Nope, you’re not alone. Apparently, things are really happening, this Friday in Mountain View, CA. Google seems to have forgotten to remove the doodle from yesterday, commemorating Oskar Fischinger’s 117th birthday. Well, the dude was born yesterday, June 22nd, and it’s still live today, June 23rd.

The interactive logo allowed you to create your own music with a variety of instruments while learning about the German animator. Furthermore, our own founder, Carson, pointed out that the doodle isn’t even centered on the homepage. A minor detail, but nonetheless.

Either way, if you missed the opportunity to make your own music via Google’s homepage yesterday, you apparently have another opportunity today. At least until the developers get back from lunch break. 😜
