Way back in December of 2017, Google pulled YouTube off of the Fire TV citing a “lack of reciprocity” by Amazon. Amazon would not carry Chromecast and Google Home products on their store, Prime Video did not support Chromecast, and new Nest devices were being pulled. Consumers were the ones to suffer the most because of these companies’ disagreements. However, Amazon essentially announced yesterday that they and Google are officially friends now. Hooray!
Exclusive: Amazon Prime Music launch imminent in India
Initially, subscribing to Amazon’s Prime package meant that you get unlimited free deliveries, no matter your order amount. This was followed by the launch of various other services, which are bundled into your Prime subscription. As per our sources, Amazon’s Prime Music has finished beta stage trials in India and launch is imminent.

Amazon Anytime is a rumored chat app by Amazon
It seems that everyone wants to make more messaging apps instead of making the current ones better (looking at you, Google). Now Amazon has jumped on-board too, with rumors that it’s working on a messaging app called Amazon Anytime.

Amazon Prime Day is today, but I bought from eBay
In case you missed it, the hotly anticipated Amazon Prime Day is today (July 11), and for the first year ever, I’m a bit impressed. Some of the deals had me checking my wallet to see if I could shell out a little consumer impulse. This year, it doesn’t feel as if the retailer wants to just discount overstock items, especially after the barrage of negative feedback it received last year. Go check it out for yourself.
