New OxygenOS open beta adds more customization options

The OxygenOS Beta program has just dropped update 19/10, and it adds some new improvements and customization abilities.

The update mainly brings version 2.1 of the OnePlus launcher, which includes support for dynamic Weather and Calendar icons. It also adds the 5 most recently used apps on the top shelf of the app drawer.

Additionally, newly-installed apps get a blue dot so you can pick them out easier from your old apps; that is, as long as you don’t have an overly-blue background.

The UI style for the clock is now updated, along with an adjustable size for said widget. There are also optimizations with call animations, font optimizations for certain languages, and optimization with connections for Bluetooth devices.

This update is for the OnePlus 3 or 3T. Those who have already downloaded a beta should receive it over OTA. Those who haven’t can download it here for OP3 users and here for OP3T users. If you want to get back to the stable updates, your phone will be reset and all its data will be cleared.
