Google is testing a new homepage with a link to the Google Store

Yesterday, Google announced a whole range of new hardware devices—including the new Pixel phones. The event really testified to how Google is really serious about pushing their in-house products. Today, it looks like that’s further being displayed on google.com.

From the header, it’s very subtle, but if you look closely, in the top left corner, you will notice that the “About” link has been moved from the bottom left corner. There’s also a new “Store” link that takes you straight to the Google Store.

And for reference, here’s the previous look:

The mobile site, however, remains unchanged.

It’s certainly nice to see Google making it a little bit more feasible to get the Pixels in people’s hands, and I’m glad they’re pushing these devices more.
