OnePlus tends to refresh its flagship device once every year, and the 5T is just that—a refresh to the OnePlus 5. Apparently, this time it is so different that it almost seems like a new device altogether. A user on Weibo, the “Chinese Twitter” has shared what he claims is a hands-on picture of the OnePlus 5T.
From the leak, we can see the massive, 18:9 display, the volume rocker and notification slider on the left, and the power button on the right. There is also a single front camera and the general array of sensors.
However, the software keys are missing here for such a bezel-less design. This could mean a bunch of things:
- This leak could be fake.
- It’s possible that the new OnePlus launcher hides them.
- Tiny capacitive nav keys (maybe?)
Anyhow, this leak is just another rumor and should be treated as such.
Also, according to another leak, the launch event is slated for November 16th.
