Google introduces Google One, a new plan for cloud storage

Google introduced Google One earlier this week—a new, simple plan for cloud storage. Google One will offer plans all the way from 100GB to 30TB with a few additional benefits.

The new storage plans

  • 100GB for $1.99/month
  • 200GB for $2.99/month
  • 2TB for $9.99/month (existing 1TB plans will be updated to 2TB at no cost)
  • 10TB for $99.99/month
  • 20TB for $199.99/month
  • 30TB for $299.99/month

Additional benefits

With Google One, you’ll get easy access to experts for 24/7 support for Google’s consumer products and services. You’ll also gain access to a few extras from other Google Products, like credits on the Google Play Store and deals on select hotels found in Google search.

It’s coming soon

If you currently pay for a Google Drive storage plan, you’ll be upgraded to Google One in the coming months. You’ll be sent an email, asking for confirmation to upgrade to Google One. The way you use Google Drive will not change, and you’ll be able to share your space across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos as before.

You can get notified when it is available in your country here.
