As is the case with many new flagships, Google’s 2017 Pixel phones don’t have a headphone jack. So if you don’t currently own a pair of Bluetooth headphones or a fancy set of USB-C earbuds, you’ll likely be stuck with the dongle included in the box. Unfortunately, if you happen to lose that dongle right now, and try to order one from the Google Store, you’ll be waiting until October for it to ship.
As a result, many users are frustrated across Twitter and Reddit:
Just tried to order two USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack dongles from the @GoogleStore for my pixel 2 and they won’t ship until OCTOBER? How is that acceptable?
There is no good third-party alternative so I have to wait months?

Best Buy doesn’t carry USB-C dongles and finding a compatible one can be tricky. However, it looks like Essential and Razer’s dongles can be used as an alternative for the Pixel 2, but it might end up costing you a few extra bucks. Below are their respective links:
