It’s a new year and Google’s monthly security updates are here. This time, Google claims the video sound quality bug on the Pixel 3 is fixed but the Nexus phones are finally left behind.
The new build numbers for devices on the January update are as follows:
- Pixel 3, 3 XL, 2, 2 XL, 2016 XL, 2016:Â PQ1A.190105.004
- Pixel C:Â OPM8.190105.002
There are no downloads posted yet for the Nexus 5X and 6P, but it’s likely that the December 2018 update might have been the last update that the Nexus line will ever get (RIP).
Essential is also rolling out the January update:
- PH-1: PPR1.181005.116
