Just two weeks ago, Spotify finally launched in India with Spotify Premium starting at 119 INR ($1.67) per month. Today, Google India announced that it’s bringing YouTube Premium and YouTube Music to the country.
YouTube Music Premium (ad-free music) will cost you 99 INR ($1.42) per month while YouTube Premium (which includes YouTube Music Premium) will cost you 129 INR ($1.85) per month. The pricing is pretty competitive with what Spotify is offering in India.
Lastly, if you bought a Galaxy S10, you’ll get YouTube Premium for free for four whole months (given you’re not a new subscriber).
