There’s finally a perfect screen protector for the Pixel 2 XL

As more and more phones sport curved displays, it has become much harder to find quality screen protectors for them. I’ve had the Pixel 2 XL for a couple of months now, and initially, I was using IQ Shield’s liquid screen protector. I never got around to writing a review for it, but, in short, all I can say is that it was decent for what it was worth. Obviously, it wasn’t glass, so it didn’t really feel natural. I definitely considered getting a tempered glass protector, but there wasn’t any on Amazon with good reviews or without fake reviews—that is until Whitestone Dome Glass released their’s late last month. Here are my impressions.

App Review: Norton App Lock for Android

Security should be one of the most important things you prioritize on your pocket computer. Every device lets you lock the entirety of your content with a pin, password (although not an SSO solution like Centrify’s), or biometric key. However, one of the problems plaguing both iOS and Android is the inability to safe keep specific content from prying eyes and hands.

Microsoft Launcher Review: A Serious Contender for your Home Screen

You could call me a fanboy, but I am not a fan of the AOSP launcher. If you are aware of my ROMing needs, you can probably guess that I am a person who uses Nova Launcher. However, I tend to stick to Trebuchet at times, too. I don’t need too many customization options, but the state of the AOSP Launcher is pathetic, and it’s good to see serious competition in the launcher space.

Paranoid Android and OnePlus 3 review

On May 31st, Paranoid Android for the OnePlus 3 was released after a long line of tweets and test builds. Bemused by the hype, I decided to take a further look. I’ve never really used AOSPA, but the perplexing nature of an entirely different Android version attracted me. I was impressed, but to give you an idea of the nature of this article and what my opinions will be, I am no longer using it.

OnePlus 3/3T Android 7.0 Nougat & Oxygen OS 4.0 upgrade review

Back in November, when the OnePlus 3T launched, OnePlus’ co-founder, Carl Pei, stated in their forums that the Nougat update would come to both the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T “later in the year.” But with OnePlus’ fame for unfulfilled promises, it came as a surprise to many that on the last day of 2016, the Nougat update was rolling out to nearly all devices.
