Nearly two weeks ago, Google announced its new lineup of Made by Google hardware. This included Stadia, Google’s cloud gaming service; Pixel Buds (2nd Gen), truly wireless earbuds; Pixelbook Go, a premium yet traditional clamshell Chromebook; Nest Mini, a more powerful and versatile Home Mini; Nest Wifi, a Google Wifi router and Google Home speaker combined; and, of course, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, Google’s latest flagship smartphones.

Stadia Connect 8/19: Live Stream, start time, and what to expect

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are, you’ve heard of Stadia, Google’s upcoming cloud gaming service that’s set to launch this November. Back in early June at Google’s first Stadia Connect, the company laid out the logistics of the platform, including pricing, game availability, and launch details. Today, Google’s hosting another one just before Gamescom in Germany.

Google unveils Stadia, a cloud gaming service

Today, at Game Developers Conference 2019, Google unveiled “Stadia,” a cloud gaming service. Using this service, you can play AAA games on multiple devices without the need for a dedicated graphics card. All the processing is done on Google’s servers and you can simply stream the gameplay right onto a laptop, desktop, tablet, phone, or even a Chromecast.
