Two years ago, dbrand launched a campaign on Indigogo for a bumper case called Grip. It intended to offer extreme grip and shock protection, but unfortunately, after long-term use, customers reported it falling apart. This year, dbrand came out with the second generation of Grip. This time, they’ve opted for a material that offers less grip but doesn’t fall apart in the long term. Also, it’s not a bumper case but a full body case that you can customize with dbrand’s own skins.
We’re a little over two months from Google’s latest smartphone refresh, which is rumored to come in early October. Today, we receive more confirmation on the design of the XL variant of the Pixel 3.

We reviewed the Carbon fabric case for the Pixel 2 XLÂ last year, and in short, it was a fantastic first-party case except for the price. However, today, they’re on sale for half off at Best Buy.
Via a Redditor by the name of bdonaldo, it appears that Google is offering a promotion for Pixelbook users with a Pixelbook Pen.

As more and more phones sport curved displays, it has become much harder to find quality screen protectors for them. I’ve had the Pixel 2 XL for a couple of months now, and initially, I was using IQ Shield’s liquid screen protector. I never got around to writing a review for it, but, in short, all I can say is that it was decent for what it was worth. Obviously, it wasn’t glass, so it didn’t really feel natural. I definitely considered getting a tempered glass protector, but there wasn’t any on Amazon with good reviews or without fake reviews—that is until Whitestone Dome Glass released their’s late last month. Here are my impressions.

Google’s new Pixel 2 phones have an assortment of third-party cases made specifically for them. However, Google has also gone ahead and designed a few of their own. The one I decided to get to go along with my current 2 XL is the fabric case that they offer. I’ve been using it daily now for about two weeks and here are my thoughts.
