AI is becoming increasingly popular. It spans from companies like Asus going crazy on the word for marketing to Google integrating it with every single product. With all the use of AI, the most popular SoC maker, Qualcomm, had to equip native support for it on their SoCs. That’s what it’s doing with the upcoming Snapdragon 855.

Google Assistant aims to give you a snapshot of your day with new contextual cards

Back at Google I/O ’18, the tech giant unveiled a new look to the Google Assistant that would be released later this year. Today, Google is now rolling out a new section with contextual cards in Assistant to help give you a snapshot of your day. And as is the case with Google, it’s a server-side update, so not everybody has this right now, including me.

When a computer talks back to you, it almost seems magical. However, there is a lot of research that goes behind converting text-based answers to speech ones. Initially, during the early days, lots of audio based outputs were recorded by natural human voices. However, with a large number of words present in the human language, it is largely clear that we need to teach the computer how to speak properly.
