Google removes the second-generation Moto 360 from the Google Store

The original Moto 360 was one of the earliest Android Wear smartwatches to set the rounded display tradition. Then later came the widely popular second-generation model which fixed many of the original’s shortcomings.

Motorola had previously stated they weren’t developing another smartwatch anytime soon and to add to that Google has now gone ahead and removed the Moto 360 2nd Gen from the Google Store. The Verge has also confirmed that the Moto 360 2nd Gen and Moto 360 Sport will both be upgraded to the upcoming Android Wear 2.0.
