Redesigned Google Home app v2.6 now rolling out

The design of the Google Home app has largely been a mess. Often, the important stuff is buried within several subsections, while the less essential stuff is more prominent. With version 2.6.6.14 of the Home app, Google has updated the app’s entire design.

App changelog:

• One simple view, with you in control.
• Shortcuts for the things you do most, like turning on and off the lights or playing music.
• Check up on your home when you’re away, or use it as a remote for your Google Home, Chromecast and other devices.

The update is rolling out in the Play Store right now, of course, but APKMirror has it as well if you don’t want to wait.
