But, there are so many games out there, literally hundreds and thousands of them, so it may be hard to pick just a few to try out. We have compiled just some popular games which require the best visuals and performance to play like a pro. If you don’t have a gaming laptop yet but are intending to buy one, find the most powerful gaming laptop here.
These games are very demanding on the computer as they can run on the maximum performance and are pretty sick when they have maxed their potential. Let’s wait no further and dive into these games.
Crysis 3
This series is a first-person shooter game and is known to be the game that sets the benchmark when trying out your computer’s limits. It is centered around the special Nanosuits which gives its holder different abilities and features which can help the player to complete quests and missions. The visuals in this game are amazing, showing the minute details of the background and settings in the post-war scene. Furthermore, the ever-changing textures and scenes make it even more impressive.
Doom
Yet another first-person shooter game, which definitely will not disappoint. This 2016 game boasts its intense gameplay with demanding effects. It uses the new id Tech 6 engine which runs amazingly smooth even with the mad detailing. Doom is set in a fantasy world in Hell with demanding violent graphics. An even newer version just released this year is a sequel to this one and the fifth one of the series. This one uses the id Tech 7 system.
The Witcher 3
The Witcher 3 is an open world dark fantasy world where you are a monster slayer. Your quest? To look for the Child of Prophecy, the world’s only living weapon, which will change the fate of the world. The Witcher’s world is astonishing in this one, even in a 60 FPS setting, and runs extremely smoothly. The wild monsters and architectural design are completely out of the world during different scenes accompanying different moods of the game. This will be one of the games where you will want to use the background setting and scenes of the game as your wallpaper.
Metro: Last Light Redux
We are not quite done with first-person games just yet! Unlike the other two, Metro: Last Light Redux is set after an apocalyptic period and the game is also demanding in the graphics. The use of different lightings and moods sets the experience of the gamer as it aims to provide a claustrophobic environment. The Redux version of the game is highly recommended as it provides a more intense effect and animation to the game which would definitely test the limits of the graphics card. In addition, the weapon animation, bokeh, and different texturing would make the missions more surreal. The newest one in the series is set to be launched soon, the Metro Exodus, which requires the newest graphic cards to be run at the maximum performance.
Grand Theft Auto V
We have arrived at one of the more highly rated games of the century. Set in Los Santos city, this game is proud of its ultra-realistic graphics and visuals with an astonishing number of NPCs, objects, and characters, which makes it very draining on your computer. The challenge for this one is for your computer to be able to keep up with the intensive gameplay while displaying the graphics without lagging or causing any strain on the game speed.
Far Cry Primal or Far Cry 5
Far Cry Primal is an adventure game and played from a first-person experience. It is set in the prehistoric era where there are no guns and cars involved, but merely ancient melee weapons. This world is another draining game with the high details on the texture of the animals and the environment, along with the play on the lighting and scenes. All these contribute to a chaotic and exhilarating gaming experience for the player.
Battlefield 1
This is a multiplayer shooter game set during a war, and war never looked so good in Ultra settings at 100 fps. With the mad audio and sound effects, in combination with the weapons, the game prides in its impressive light effects and illumination which would definitely transport you into their world.
The Division
Another multiplayer shooter game currently gaining popularity is The Division. When it first came out in 2016, the game did not attract much attention but has since been much improved to make the gaming experience more enjoyable. This game should be played in the maximum performance and settings in order to thoroughly taste the battlefield and feel the ice-cold snow as the wind blows.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
This sequel to the 2013 game, Tomb Raider, marks its eleventh part of this series. This version focuses on completing quests in Siberia to find the legendary city while trying to avoid the evil organization. This game is extremely detail-oriented and realistic, with the little cracks on each stone and rock as the entire game is built upon by the ancient ruins and fields. This is hands down one of the best to test out the limits of your graphics card.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Last but definitely not the least, this action RPG game is the fourth in the line of its series and it is not only attractive for its background story but also its well-designed screenplay and design. Based on the Prague city, Prague has never looked more attractive than this. The different conversations and responses the player chooses in the game can affect the gameplay differently and hence leading to a different telling of the storyline. In addition, there is a special mode where players can enter a different challenge other than the main game. Legend says that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided can literally break computers down when you set it to 4K with no fps limit. So before it is adjusted to play at 4K, it is better to enjoy this game in the 1080p setting.
With all these challenging games, we are sure you will be having loads of fun testing out your new computers and their specs!
