You can now change Google Assistant’s voice by choosing a color

Google is rolling out a new UI for choosing your Assistant’s voice and it’s identified by colors. The gender-neutral focus in choosing a Google Assistant voice is strong.

Previously, these eight different choices to choose from were referred as “Voice 1, Voice 2, Voice 3…” and so on. To keep the Google Assistant gender neutral specific, the different voices are now referred to by colors, and the new UI is beautiful.

The different voices are now horizontally scrollable with a nice wave-like animation when the Google Assistant speaks. The updated UI experience should be rolling out now to anyone with US English as the language for their Google Assistant.
