Google Search now has a “deep breathing” widget

I/O ’18 marked an interesting pivot for Google in the digital well being space. It seems that Google Search now features one more such tool which can help in one’s well being. A deep breathing widget now displays on web and mobile when a user searches for “deep breathing.”

The little applet starts by showing you a white circle on a blue background and telling you to “bring awareness to your breath.” You are then asked to calm down and focus on your breathing. A pulsating white bubble appears against the light blue backdrop, contracting and expanding alongside your breaths.

At the end of the one-minute breathing exercise, users can restart or share the useful tool with a button in the top-right corner.
