Google is making its own Google Assistant Smart Display

Google recently announced Smart Displays with the Google Assistant. These didn’t come from Google but came from Lenovo, JBL, and LG.  Now, according to a report from Nikkei Asian Review, Google is planning to announce another Smart Display—made by Google itself.

The Lenovo Smart Display

The new displays aren’t going to be different from the ever so small Smart Display lineup. According to the report, Google is going to launch them in time for the holiday season. It’s also planning to ship 3 million units.

We don’t have any leaked images of it yet, but we do know a few specifications. It will include a front-facing camera, two microphones, and a screen-size larger than the current 10-inch Lenovo unit. The device could also feature a standalone battery for untethered usage.
