YouTube TV is giving customers one-week of free service as compensation for recent outage

YouTube suffered a nearly two-hour long outage last Tuesday causing YouTube, YouTube Music, and YouTube TV to all go down.

Many YouTube TV customers were understandably annoyed, considering how it was the opening night of the NBA regular-season and the MLB postseason was ongoing. This isn’t the first time YouTube TV has had an outage during a major sporting event—last time it went down during the World Cup semifinals.

However, YouTube realizes how much of an annoyance these outages can be and are offering one-week free to affected customers as compensation.

To receive the service credit, customers will need to fill out the linked form before midnight Pacific Time on Wednesday, October 23.
