Google announced Duo, its consumer-oriented video calling app, way back at I/O 2016. Now, Google’s doing more to invite other users to the platform. If you’re in India, you can invite others to Duo and earn cash rewards in Google Pay.
Google already had this reward scheme in the Phillipenes, but they only gave out data rewards for prepaid users. In India, however, they’re giving out cash rewards in Google Pay.
To be eligible, you need to have an Indian phone number and bank account. When the recipient installs and activates the latest version of Duo, and it’s their first time on that number, you’ll receive an email with instructions about how to get your reward.
