Android 10’s Easter egg features a Nonogram mini-game

For years, Google devs have always included an Easter egg within Android settings. In the past, we’ve had flappy bird variants, cat games, and others. With the release of Android 10 this past Tuesday, this is no exception. This time, Google has included a Nonogram mini-game.

The way to access the Easter egg is the same as always: Settings > About Phone > Android version > Tap Android version 10 several times.

To access the Nonogram, you have to rearrange the 10 to make a “Q.” You can drag the numbers to move them and double-tap and hold the “1” to rotate it. Once they form a “Q,” you’ll notice the background moving. Now, tap the Android logo until the Nonogram launches.

The way the Nonogram game works is by filling in each cell to make the puzzle’s picture. The numbers listed at the top are the number of cells you must fill. As you can see in the above screenshot, the puzzle made a phone icon. We don’t know how many icons there are to solve, but each solved puzzle ends up making various ones from Android.
