There’s never been an Apple Watch equivalent for Wear OS. Be it having bad battery life or being too thick, all Wear OS smartwatches have had flaws. Enter, the TicWatch Pro. Created by Mobvoi, it aims to fix all the flaws other Wear OS smartwatches had. And further, it claims up to a whopping 30 days of battery life.
30 days of battery life
Probably the star of the crowd, this watch can get you 30 days of battery life. Now, how is this even possible? The TicWatch Pro uses two screens—an AMOLED and an LCD. Not your typical LCD though, it’s the one a traditional digital watch uses.
The AMOLED Screen is used for the standard Wear OS interface. When you’re not using the watch, the LCD steps in, showing the essential features like the time, heart rate, and steps. This lasts you 5 days. If you want to hit the 30-day figure, you’re gonna have to use the “Essential Mode” which uses only the LCD screen.
- Smart Mode: 2 days
- Essential Mode: 30 days
- Mixed usage: between 5-30 days
