Credit where credit is due, Material Theme, Google’s new Material Design style, is making its way to various Google apps and services much faster than the original Material Design did when it launched back in 2014. The latest app to get the redesign is Keep Notes.

Google has changed the name of its note-taking app “Keep” to “Keep Notes.” There are no aesthetic or design changes yet, but the name of the app has now changed. The web version still has Google Keep in its name though.

Less than a year ago, Google removed the functionality within the Google Assistant to have your shopping lists stored in Google Keep in favor of tying it to Google Express in an online shopping list. It was very much of a but why? move from Google. Today, however, a Redditor by the name of Darklyte has posted a surprising, but amusing, workaround to this.
