[Possibly Oct. 9th now] Google Pixel 3 official announcement date revealed

Not so long ago, Google’s upcoming Pixel 3 XL was leaked in its ‘clearly white’ color on the XDA Forums, which only leaves the official date of announcement for us to guess. Well, it seems that we won’t be left wondering that for long. Update 8/27, 12:30 PM/CTIt appears that the initial October 4th date might be incorrect.
An ad was spotted by YouTuber Brandon Lee (aka This Is Tech Today) on FameBit—a subsidiary of Google, grouped under their YouTube division—that suggests that the much-anticipated Pixel 3 lineup will be officially unveiled on the 4th of October. While it is not something new to see official announcement dates being leaked, it is the first time to see Google spilling the beans this time around. Google has been known for their consistency of revealing their latest and greatest smartphones on this date for years. Update 8/27, 12:30 PM/CT: According to a new report published by Bloomberg, the upcoming Pixel 3 duo will officially be unveiled in an NYC-based media event on the 9th of October.
