Latest Pixel feature drop brings improved battery life, new safety features in tow
Not so long ago, Google announced that the Android 11 Beta online event will be delayed, much to the disappointment of many of the tech enthusiasts. Whether it is related to the never-ending COVID-19 pandemic slowing things down or because of the ongoing protests and riots in the United States is yet to be known. That didn’t stop Google from pushing another Pixel Feature Drop though, bringing a bunch of new features to the Pixel 2, 3, and 4 series.

Back in March of this year, Google unveiled Stadia, a new cloud gaming service. While a lot about how the service would function (on a backend) was revealed, pricing, games, and other launch info were still unknown, until today at Stadia Connect.

May update for Pixel phones now out
The first Monday of May has arrived, and in an orderly fashion, Google’s monthly security updates are here. As always, just head to Settings > System > Advanced > System update to get the OTA.
Google accidentally sent someone ten pink Pixel 3s instead of one
Customer service isn’t every company’s cup of tea, but Google just took it to a whole new level. Reddit user /u/Cheetohz returned a defective white Pixel 3 for a refund. He didn’t receive a full refund, but he ordered a replacement anyway. Instead of sending him one replacement, Google sent him ten—yes, you read that right—ten Pixel 3s.

April update for Pixel phones now out
April Fool’s Day is today, but this is not a prank. Google’s April 2019 security updates are here. Head to Settings > System > Advanced > System update to get the OTA.
Google Camera v6.2 brings faster launch times and mode switching
The Pixel phones are known for their best-in-class cameras, but the camera app’s performance has degraded somewhat in the past couple of months. However, with the v6.2 update, users are reporting “noticeably quicker launch” times.

Android Q Beta now open for all Pixel phones
Today’s the day! The public beta for the next version of Android, Q, is finally open. It’s available for all Pixel phones, including the first-gen Pixel, which technically reached EOL for Android version updates in October of last year.
