The Android 11 Beta is officially out

After many delays and postponing the Launch Event, Google’s finally released the Android 11 Beta to the public.

Google says that the first beta release is focused on three key themes: People, Controls, and Privacy. “People” includes conversation notifications and bubbles. “Controls” include changes to media controls and home automation access. “Privacy” includes things like one-time permissions and permission auto-resets.

The Android 11 Beta is available on Pixel devices from the 2 onwards. This includes the Pixel 2, 3, 3a, and 4. You can sign up for the OTA here (you may have to refresh the page several times) or, if you prefer, flash a system image from here.
