The Pixel series have amazing cameras, and they are a class apart when it comes to photography on Android. However, if you have an older Pixel device, you won’t be able to use the newer features that debuted on the Pixel 3 and 3 XL. However, with a modded APK, you can access a lot of the newer features on your older Pixel device.

Despite renowned leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) on Twitter hinting that the next version of Android, Android P, would launch on the 20th of August, Google has gone ahead today and released it to the public, along with a brand new name.
If Google is serious about selling a lot of Pixel phones, there are quite a few steps that need to be performed. I’d like to highlight two in particular: price and availability.

As is the case with many new flagships, Google’s 2017 Pixel phones don’t have a headphone jack. So if you don’t currently own a pair of Bluetooth headphones or a fancy set of USB-C earbuds, you’ll likely be stuck with the dongle included in the box. Unfortunately, if you happen to lose that dongle right now, and try to order one from the Google Store, you’ll be waiting until October for it to ship.

We reviewed the Carbon fabric case for the Pixel 2 XL last year, and in short, it was a fantastic first-party case except for the price. However, today, they’re on sale for half off at Best Buy.
Google’s second-generation line of Pixel phones have been out for about nine months now, and the Pixel 2 XL has been my daily driver now ever since. In nine months, the phone has certainly grown on me, and I can confidently say that it’s still the best, but that’s not without the fair share of issues I’ve had with it.
